Universal Tool and Cutter Grinder "Gravograph CG30"

Occasionally, model building enthusiasts visit each other's workshops. Upon such a visit you may realize that the other model builder owns a tool and cutter grinder. Now comes your chance to convince him that he does not really need that machine. That is exactly how I ended up buying the Gravograph CG30 universal grinder. The acquisition did make sense because I engrave regularly and know that engraving tools are delicate and quite expensive. That the collet set was incomplete did not bother me because I could always build additional collets.
The seller will probably not recognize his machine from this picture. After a thorough job of cleaning and adjusting it, I noticed that the grinding wheels were worn way beyond their limits. I ended up buying new grinding wheels, which did not come cheap.
After some initial trial and error, I "got the hang of it". I made the engraving tool shown in the photo from a 6 mm blank. It is 0.1 mm wide and the included angle is 11.5°.

If you are really attentive, you will notice this very letter "E" on another page of mine... Sorry, there is no reward for finding it.
