Description:

The smaller version of the MM08 was built with the original piston and cylinder from the Opitec engine. For this model, the original parts were threaded so that they could be screwed together. Corresponding to the MM01, the cylinder was made from an N2O cartridge with a brazed-on brass flange. The crankshaft bearing was harvested from an old hard drive. All parts were mounted onto a piece of aluminum profile. I later removed the front section in order to expose the gear, which can now be observed while the engine is in operation.
