In the past I never thougt that I would ever build a steam engine. But the
Stuart steam models fascinated me again and again. Thus, a ready machined kit of
the Stuart 10V was just the right thing for me. So I intended to build a
"quick" model of it on the side while delineating the Heinrici engine.
But it was mistaken soon. The ready-made parts were not ready at all, and of
substandard quality, so there was a lot of improvement work to do. Now the
Stuart engine runs quite properly, with compressed air from an airbrush
compressor. Here I would like to thank Hans
Temme for providing me with the cast flywheel for the engine.
