Description:
A kit where the cylinder and the engine base had already been machined
served as the basis for this steam engine project. I machined the missing parts
in accordance with the original drawings, changing all threads and bolts to
metric. Since the originial flywheel was missing, I decided to obtain a finished
one from Wolfgang Bengs, who makes
these flywheels on a CNC machine and by now has expanded his shop, also offering
high quality accessory parts for steam engines. I nickel plated some of
the shiny surfaces of this model.
